Welcome to one and all

Welcome to my new blog. What a great place for recording the latest news and happenings as well as the random thoughts in my head. Ha! To launch this blog site I am going to tell you all a bit about some of the links I have posted at the right. The first of which is my new business venture. It’s my website at Heritage Makers. They are an online publisher which provides a choice of designs and templates to “storybook” a special event in your life by using your own scanned or digital photos and your own thoughts. You create it and they publish it into a hardcover, library-bound book that looks like you stopped into Barnes and Nobles for the latest coffee table book. It is a priceless keepsake!! And it really makes a wonderful and affordable gift!! It’s easier than ever so take a look at the website and e-mail me if you have any questions!

Make a Child Smile and Love Quilts are two worthwhile sites to take a look at. My daughters, Kayleigh-10 and Emily-almost 8, really love this, too! Each month, the Make a Child Smile Organization’s website features three seriously ill children. You send them cards and well wishes, goody packages, etc. Anything you can think of to make these kiddos smile and help them through their ordeals. The Love Quilts site takes many of these same children and puts together a special quilt made of cross-stitched quilt squares from people everywhere around the world. My daughters and I have been participating with Make a Child Smile for over a year and I have stitched three quilt squares (for Craig, Kristen and Sadie) and am on my 4th (Daniel) for the Love Quilts kids. These are really meaningful ways to help make a difference in someone’s outlook on life!

The Birds & The Bees is a delightful little storefront shop in downtown Perrysburg, Ohio that features specialty gifts for brides and new babies. They have on online store with all sorts of wonderful things! If you are looking for something unique and special, you should take a look here!

And that’s it for this inaugural post. I hope you will all enjoy this website-I know I will! Cheers!!
