Old Friends

I think that maybe there is no other feeling quite comparable to that of having a place to call "home." Not necessarily the structure in which you dwell... but the place where you came from and where you can always go back to. A place where you feel free to be who and what you are without any qualms. A place where the people you come back to will take you in whole-heartedly--no questions asked. I have just come from that place and it was good to be with old friends and to be reminded of these simple truths and to laugh again, like a child.

As hot and humid as it has been, who is thinking about the holidays at this point?! Heritage Makers is continuing some really great deals on products, packages and hostess bonuses. If you have ever considered hosting a Heritage Celebration then now may be the time. The host credits are wonderful this month.

Next week marks the big Alumni Weekend in Antwerp, Ohio where the town will be having a weekend of celebrations for ALL classes who have ever graduated from AHS. There will be class members there to celebrate anywhere from 1 year out of school to 50 and 60 plus years!! Here's hoping the heat and humidity let up for a bit and everyone attending has a safe and FUN time!! That shouldn't be difficult with the legendary, one and only "Stanley and the Tools" performing Saturday night!! Everyone have a great weekend!!
